I really liked the game Papo & Yo , which I got thanks to PSPlus. It tells the story of a little Brazilian boy who suffers from his alcoholic father. To escape from his hardships, he invents his own fairy-tale world, which transforms the favelas. There, his favorite toy becomes a robotic assistant, and his father becomes a seemingly scary monster. But this monster usually protects the boy, taking care of him. True, when he eats a frog, he becomes terribly angry and bad.
This is the first experience of the Minority Media studio, and it was immediately successful. The fact is that the basis is based on memories from the childhood of Vander Caballero himself, the game developer. Therefore, all experiences, feelings and emotions look not at all fake. And little things like exaggerated sizes of objects (like a ball) and cardboard hint boxes only add to the atmosphere of the game. It's fascinating and very touching. 5 out of 5.
Completing the game will take one evening, but I strongly recommend playing! Fortunately, the game was released not only on PS3, but also on PC and Mac.
