PayDay 2 is a very controversial game. It doesn't seem to be of high quality, but for some reason it still manages to keep the player engaged for a hundred hours.
Gameplay: Very sparse and primitive, it includes shooting huge hordes of policemen, stealth (it can be quite interesting at times) and essentially that’s all. There are also, let’s say, frequent contacts with the environment such as cameras, etc., but this is not gameplay, frankly speaking.
The graphics are good for the year it was released. You can't call her pleasant, but she doesn't hurt your eyes.
The plot is only visible and cannot be considered at all, since it is based on the contractual nature of the game.
The controls are the most ordinary.
The shooting mechanics, what a game about “shooting games” should be based on, is absolutely pathetic. And the higher the level of difficulty, the more visible this is. It’s not pleasant to shoot; the weapon is poorly felt. It feels like you are killing enemies with a stream of lead, but not automatically.
Music is probably the best part of the game. The game is equipped with quite a lot of music to take out armies of policemen.
Multiplayer is implemented well.
Final rating: 7.1 out of 10. I have no idea why this is fun to play sometimes.
