The first pancake is lumpy
There are so many bad things I want to say about this game. Terrible Korean, with endless farming. The problem is that this was my first MMO and I didn’t know about the existence of others. Then I liked both the style of the game and its music. There were moments that I didn’t like even then, but I was happy about this bird in my hands.
Then they showed me WoW and I realized that it was just a stuffed tit. The comparison showed me how bad everything is in the Ideal World. I learned that quests can be interesting and the plot exciting. Later I went to LOTRO and no amount of “excellent flights with a significant other” can replace the excellent dialogues and interesting dungeons of “The Ring”.
Ideal World showed me what MMOs should not be. Helped me understand that “Koreanism” is not for me.
