Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is the game where after every death you think in your head: “Where from?!”, “Which grenade was just alive?!”, “You mean from the other end of the map?!” and the like, and at some point you start to like everything, because in a day or two it will no longer be you asking such a question, but your enemies.
It should be clarified that mgra is actually quite hardcore, especially for those who mainly played (or plays) Cod and Battlefield because there is no exact designation... In general, you don’t see the mini map, there’s no health bar, there’s no stamps over players (even allies), and all this gives the game realism.
The gameplay is quite complicated for those who have just started, but when you already know every control button you begin to understand that it turns out that you can’t necessarily crawl out of cover with your whole body, you can just look out and so on, I won’t list much and I’ll say more that the gameplay is fast on some maps, but on others it’s a drag. 9.1
The graphics for 2011 are beautiful, the Germans look like Germans, the Russians look like Russians, but there is a problem with the models, the Germans don’t have winter uniforms, sadly, well, even on the minimal graphics it looks quite beautiful and you can’t see the hard soap 10.0 no words
The plot, as usual, is the Second World War, that is, it’s not entirely possible to win the battle that you actually lost, and it’s cool, (Add-on Heroes of The West) God, there’s even an operation “Overlord” " and landing on the Normandy beach, it's just awesome.
Well, this is just World War II and in general there is no plot (Except for changing the course of the battle) 6.0
The controls are convenient and responsive, but not everyone can get used to it right away, for example, by default there is no “Interact” button and some more buttons, BUT a big one BUT all the actions that are missing, such as “Interaction”, are essentially not needed and you can do it without them because they are not necessary and you will most likely rarely use them. 9.5
Sound and music. The sounds are simply a masterpiece, I immediately say I give 10 out of 10, the Germans are yelling in German, the Russians in Russian, the Americans in American and the Japanese in Japanese, respectively, and the sounds of shots, tank explosions and so on are full of life, you hear some soldier yelling “For Stalin, Attack!" or “They killed him bitches, let’s take revenge!” and you understand that the characters are alive and worry about every death of their friend and comrade, and sometimes they yell “Where is my leg!!?”, but unfortunately only Americans yell like that. 10.0
Multiplayer is still alive and new players are coming who, like me, missed Rising Storm 2 (and in general I’m not into it), there are a lot of old players, a lot of new ones, there are Russian servers, European ones and American, and most importantly there is online and a good community that is sociable and you shout at each other in the voice chat: “Attack, for Stalin! He will be proud of us!” or "Let's destroy the Soviet trash! Attack!" (Please do not consider this an insult to Russians or those who lived in the USSR!). 9.7
Localization, as I already said in “Sounds and Music”, is good, everyone yells in their own languages and with their own accent (Only when you play as the Germans, for some reason, they yell in Russian, and when you play as the Soviets, they yell in German), each line is re-voiced and sounds good and appropriate (Not counting the Japanese and Americans, they shout in their own languages). In general, Localization is 10 out of 10.
