I didn’t play the original, so this creation was something new for me. I've never been a fan of The Resident, but I'll remember this gem forever.
If someone thinks that this is a stupid shooting of zombies (ala left 4 dead), then no no. Here 4 zombies in one room are doing such a movement, creating such horror and tension. Just a hint: for the first time, set it to hardcore suicide. There are no complaints about the gameplay. There is a complete balance of action, puzzles (some can take hours to solve without Google) and walking. Well, if you really find fault, of course, then in the end it becomes a little boring, but what happened before that cancels out everything. According to the story, I only played as Leon, it’s good, it’s good. It’s not a good idea to spoil this, but I’ll say that after finishing the game I went to YouTube to watch the video of the ending. Separately, I want to praise the sound. It makes the picture even more tense; when you walk in the dark, there are constantly some sounds, something falling, you turn sharply and slowly, with an aim, go to look around the corner, is there anyone there???
So, the remake is definitely in the top of my favorites. I totally recommend it. I recommend it to anyone who wants fear and tension. I recommend it to anyone who prefers a cooler graphic. I recommend it to anyone who has a cool ending to the plot.
P.s I don’t rate multiplayer and localization, I just held it out until the end so that the rating would be higher
