I played the Remake, completed both campaigns 4 times (for Leon and Claire 2 times) and realized that they sold me garbage. Why? Because the promised connected plot is NOT! Both scenarios are standalone, that is, they are not connected. For example, let's take the moment with the Crocodile, in the original you could choose several methods of killing, in the Remake... well, thank you for not being a QTE. For Claire and Sherry we go down the elevator, we come for Leon, we have to lift the elevator, but it breaks down and we have to look for another way, but what in the Remake? NOTHING! There is no such thing there. Or for example boss battles. In the Remake, we kicked Birkin's ass for Claire, we come for Leon... and again we have to kick Birkin's ass. And there are many such moments! They also cut out the laboratory, but enlarged the sewer system... Consider the inappropriate jokes of the characters and stupid dialogues (I know that in the original, they weren’t very good either, but in the Remake it’s still sadder). Although I liked the Extras. Modes. Tofu with Knives, Cognac with Weapons, Tofu with Grenades (I don’t remember the name), Flank (Haven’t played for him yet), and there is also a fifth Tofu, but I haven’t opened it yet. Oh yes, exactly! Also the Grim Reaper (Hank). Although the graphics, thanks to Unreal Engine 4, have become very beautiful and the third-person view perfectly complements the Remake. Capcom also did not forget about the classic Easter eggs from the original (Photo by Jill, Wellcome), but also added their own (It's Frank (Dead Rising 2 (There are a lot of Easter eggs about this game in the Remake)), Photo of a member of S.T.A.R.S. (Will be killed by Nemesis (He is wearing a yellow vest) )).
P.S. Кто говорил, что RE Engine =Unreal Engine 4?
