This game was the fourth in the series that I played through. If I knew in what order I had to play, I would have started with it. She essentially started the franchise and made it what we know it today. It began a long but fascinating storyline between Leon and Claire. It gave me unforgettable emotions after the first playthrough and to this day I consider it one of my favorite games. Judge for yourself. The graphics in it are excellent. The plot is incredible. The gameplay is top notch. The characters are written well. The riddles in it are interesting, not very complicated, but it would be hard to call them simple. Plus the Tyrant, who could appear anywhere and cause trouble.

It combines horror and shooter, and does it competently. In general, the game is simply top-notch.

I recommend the game for purchase, but only at a discount. You can complete the story in about 8 hours in Leon’s branch, but for Claire it was even faster. Fully conveyed the spirit of the original in a modern twist. Overall the game is excellent, very atmospheric and great graphics.

A brilliant remake of a good, but not perfect game from 1998. The remake has improved almost all parameters! The plot has not changed, but the locations have become creepier, the puzzles are more interesting and confusing, constant tension haunts the player, but the main feature is the vile and creepy monsters and bosses. Once completed, Tyrant T-103 will haunt your nightmares, and William Birkin's various mutations will make you look at meat differently. In general, this game is a must-play for all horror fans, and not only! (I forgot to mention the ost, in this game it is simply beautiful)

Of the entire series, I am only familiar with the films, the CG films from Capcom and the sixth part of the game. Initially I didn't want to buy the game, so what's the point? But the game came to me for free, for the purchase of a video card from AMD. Well, actually it passed. This is simply the best remake of any video game in existence. Graphics and sound are simply top notch. Another thing is that the game design of the 90s has not gone away and is annoying in places. But the game is still interesting to play through. And what kind of “meat” they made here! Whether in films or games, I haven’t seen this for a long time. Bright and juicy. And most importantly, the game is made not only for fans. And thank you that there is no static shooting and a classic camera here.

I’m writing a review after playing this game for quite some time. Resident evil is the only game that I simply adore and even bought on Steam. Although this is a remake, it is very high quality. So I recommend this game.

resident evil remake 2 is an amazing game, the graphics are gorgeous, the plot is excellent, the gameplay keeps you in suspense and doesn’t let you get bored for a minute, especially on hardcore (you can’t handle packs of enemies like in RE 5) here a couple of zombies in a tight space can eat you . Thanks to Capcom for the Tyrant - this ubiquitous monster, like a real Oriflame agent, will get you almost everywhere. The controls are very convenient and responsive.

I advise everyone to play it - both those who played the 98 version and those who are not even familiar with it. Moreover, I advise you to play on a difficult level or at least on an average one, because... this way the game becomes even more interesting and scary. I was very pleased that the developers did not leave the classic view of the camera from the side. The third-person view does not spoil the game at all - notes of the classic version can still be traced. By the way, it is MANDATORY...to play with headphones and only with them. The sound in the game is at the highest level - the rustling, moaning of zombies will make you make a bunch of bricks as soon as you get into the area. Therefore, I also recommend getting a shit bucket for every firefighter.
