Well done Capcom, they took into account the mistakes after the remake of the third part, did not step on the same rake and produced a very high-quality remake, which became the ideal combination of action and survival horror. From the beginning of the game, changes in controls are visible, thanks to which now you can finally play normally, because we all know what controls were in the original game. The difference in graphics is also noticeable, although in some places it leaves much to be desired. In addition, the remake contains a lot of innovations that improve the game. For example, Ashley, other than yelling “Leon, help!” Now I’ve learned to tell the player how to go through certain areas, and sometimes even fight enemies. And the gameplay for it has changed dramatically: if in the original you just had to go through a couple of rooms with sectarians, sometimes throwing lanterns at them, then in the remake you need to go through a library with virtually no lighting, full of knights (parasites inside the armor). Supporting characters such as Luis Sera are better developed. We were pleased with the updated battles with bosses Salazar and Krauser. The merchant became more talkative, his stock of expressions expanded significantly. Original content has been cut to a minimum and replaced with new content. And, as in “village”, the game has Russian voice acting. Perhaps Resident Evil 4 remake is the last game from Capcom with official Russian voice acting. Of the minuses: the color palette is not very good, because of which some locations are very dark, and in others they look monotonous; the merchant's signature greeting is not interpreted in any way for Russian voice acting; additional quests that, to be honest, didn't do the damn thing here. The only part in which they are, but they are extremely illogical and do not fit into the gameplay. I won’t talk about the plot, it’s a typical Rezik plot, left over from the original fourth part and only slightly changed. Bottom line: a pretty good remake, especially when compared with the original or the third remake. Unfortunately, it doesn’t reach the level of the second remake, but that doesn’t matter.
