One of the worst parts of the Resident, but it has a huge amount of action and cool shootouts. Even the plot is catchy, although it is not in the manner of the usual Resident Evil games.
All the playable characters, there are already 8 of them, are extremely interesting personalities, among them there are familiar Leon, Chris, Ada, and new guys: Leon’s partner, Wesker’s son, the grown-up girl Sherry from the second part and perhaps the most sincere character, this Chris's partner, his name is Pierce. He is a soldier who dies heroically at the end of the campaign for Chris.
Ada here, by the way, also opens up in a new way.
The game has become a real gaming embodiment of a Hollywood film, but not the horror that is so inherent in the resident.
I got it.
To begin with, I will say that in this part they wanted to please everyone..
Leon and Helena - has a horror component and is perhaps the most interesting part of the game
Chris and Pierce are a pure buffoon
Jake and Sherry.. This is already difficult
The controls are responsive, it’s interesting that they added a dodge system
The plot is good, 4 plot lines that intertwine with each other, but they somehow turned down the clones...
Graphics? Sooo controversial. It looks good from afar, but if you get close it's eye-opening. Absolute cardboard blur of textures.
The multiplayer is wonderful, but worse than the PE5 co-op... in terms of “loot”, in PE6 it is individual, and in 5 it is general. And there is a catch with the plot for Ada (it is clear that the plot for Ada is single, and the co-op was ma… Read full
As for me, in terms of plot and dynamism, this part is the TOP.
Here you will not just play the entire game as one or two characters, but many more! What I really liked was that they collected characters from the fourth and fifth parts right away and added a couple of others. Thanks to this, you will go through several short stories in turn that will intersect with each other.
There is no direct horror here as such, this part is more geared towards action, basically like the fifth part. But there's a lot more action here.
There will also be not too complicated riddles in the spirit of this series and something like Half-Life.
In general, at least you will like this part due to the fact that you will be given several short stories for different heroes. And what’s more, you can start playing eac… Read full
The game is very interesting to play in co-op, but you get tired of it quickly when playing solo.
RE6 was not very liked by players, since it went even further from horror than RE5 (which in turn went further from horror than RE4 (which in turn went further from horror than RE3)), RE6 is not just further moved away from horror, the scenes of RE6 not only ceased to be scary, they became overly pretentious, which does not fit with Resident evil.
Resident evil 6 is a really good Co-op shooter, and this is the only thing that attracts me to this game, when there were no people left to play it with, I started playing solo, and I really quickly got tired of the same 4 or 7 I completed almost in one breath and from time to time I got stuck in their DLC a lot, but here... Despondency. I also have a … Read full
The sixth part of the Resident Evil game series turned out to be very good. The game has three main campaigns and one additional one.
Personally, I liked the company of Leon. The game pleases with its
atmosphere. A must-play for fans of the series.
(wrigting after RE5)This game isn't typical RE game. This is more Action than Survival-Horror. Story divided to 5 parts. Each part have it's own character. But somewhere in the game this story-lines intersects . This intersection allows us to look at story from different points of view. When i start play ing RE6 after RE5 i expect same to have same experience as previous game. Actualy RE5 and RE6 fills same, but RE6 more action based game.
Whatever they say about her, that she has lost the spirit of RE, is nonsense. Each campaign is unique in its own way and has its own gameplay and interface, and also complements the plot and tells the story from different angles. Even if the campaign for Chris is more like some kind of Call of Duty zombie with constant military action, and the game for Ada is constant puzzles, but it’s great! The game is varied and doesn’t get boring when you constantly run as the same hero, doing the same things. I think this part is no worse. But if it’s not so easy to please someone, then at least let them play the campaign for Leon. It's definitely in the spirit of Resident Evil.
