The creepiest part in the Resident Evil series. Although Resident has always belonged to the horror genre, it only became such after the release of the seventh part.
Each enemy causes a feeling of discomfort, as it did in the first three parts, but from the first person, the immersion is even better. There is little action and this also benefits the atmosphere of the game.
At first there is no smell of any biological weapon here at all. There is some pure Japanese devilry going on with mysticism, and in general some kind of P.T. at maximum. Everything is exactly as in the instructions: a girl with supernatural powers, monsters in the spirit of Silent Hill, a creepy house in the swamps in which a crazy family lives. In short, in terms of the atmosphere of horror, the game is in no way inferior to Outlast, and even surpasses it in some ways.
Finally, they returned the save room system, which was lost after the third part.
