As soon as I completed the seventh part, I immediately went through the eighth. I’ll be honest: Capcom did a great job, they tried very hard. The plot of the game is simply fire, there was never a thought that the story was boring. Many people complain about the fact that they did not reveal the rulers, namely Donna and Moreau, but, in my opinion, they are mistaken here. Yes, they are given less game time than Dimitrescu and Heisenberg, but this does not spoil the game in any way. Even though their story is short, the creators manage to convey to the player the main information about these antagonists, and that’s quite enough. The atmosphere is stronger than in other parts, and there are also plenty of scary moments. Especially the giant child in the Beneviento house, from which almost all gamers laid bricks. Everything about management is already clear. Like the gameplay, it was completely migrated from Resident Evil 7. The graphics were improved and ray tracing was added, so the visuals are pleasing to the eye of all owners of powerful PCs. The opponents in the game are simply something. Some werewolves are worth it - dexterous, agile, they dodge bullets and can get close to the player at any time. There are also zombies. Yes, they are modified, and some of them carry bladed weapons, these are still the same good old walking dead. Except for the cyber zombies in the factory, the idea of them is very cool. There are also various mini-bosses that are more difficult to fight. And the Carlson from the factory actually set me on fire. As for the main boss fights, there are both very difficult and extremely simple ones. Naturally, the gameplay is accompanied by a cool soundtrack and powerful audio special effects. Well, and finally, special thanks for the fact that for the first time in history, the rezic has official Russian voice acting, and even without censorship. Overall, Resident Evil Village was not only one of the best games in the series, but also did a good job of restoring Capcom's reputation after they messed up with the Resident Evil 3 remake. I will play it again and again.
