I completed the game five times and almost 100%. This is not a horror game (except for one moment), but rather a first-person shooter. The rulers are not revealed, either look for one note in a huge location, or look for details of clothing and surroundings. The combat system is like in RE7. And the atmosphere is the best part of the game, perhaps because of it I finished the game five times.

The game is quite interesting. However, it strongly copies the previous part in the sense that you need to go somewhere where you kill the boss, in order to then get to the next location, where you kill another boss, and so on until you reach the end and kill the last one.

The graphics are beautiful. Good attention to detail.

(Spoiler ahead) However, the moment that Ethan was moldy really killed it. That is, you initially think that something is wrong with him: in part 7, after mortal wounds, he survived and his arm was reattached (but here you can throw in a powerful stapler for good herbal treatment) and in this part he was able to simply reattach hand and it worked (WHAT?!). And ultimately, all expectations are confirmed. Fortunately, this plot twist perfectly describes the miraculous hea… Read full

Pretty good adventure game. But the most interesting thing here is, of course, the plot, here they did their best, sometimes I got bored when I played it, because the locations are strange and you often get lost and just wander around a huge place trying to get around the monsters that still beat you.. Of course there are advantages, in the variety of weapons, etc.

An excellent continuation of part 7

Good Russian voice acting

Interesting plot

There is almost no horror here

There is nothing superfluous in the notes and there is a lot of useful information in them

Beautiful location design

First, a brief retelling of the plot of part 7 , so it’s not necessary to go through part 7

Resident Evil Village combines the best elements of many RE games. and yet offers something completely unique. It starts out a little slow and I really like how the tension builds slowly and steadily. You are not a killing machine, and you often have a need to survive. As you progress and get stronger, the game becomes more action-packed. Gameplay is one of the most important parts of this game

As soon as I completed the seventh part, I immediately went through the eighth. I’ll be honest: Capcom did a great job, they tried very hard. The plot of the game is simply fire, there was never a thought that the story was boring. Many people complain about the fact that they did not reveal the rulers, namely Donna and Moreau, but, in my opinion, they are mistaken here. Yes, they are given less game time than Dimitrescu and Heisenberg, but this does not spoil the game in any way. Even though their story is short, the creators manage to convey to the player the main information about these antagonists, and that’s quite enough. The atmosphere is stronger than in other parts, and there are also plenty of scary moments. Especially the giant child in the Beneviento house, from which almost all… Read full

This part directly continues the previous one. According to the plot, as always, everything is confusing at first, but that’s not bad, that’s how it should be. The boss stories turned out to be a blast. The only thing that didn't work was the amount of jokes. Here, at every step, someone is waiting for you in batches. Although usually The Resident is more about the plot and stealth, and there is little of horror here at all. They added a merchant, which is also very convenient in the passage. I didn’t want to break away at all, it was just addictive. I liked a lot of things, but for the full picture it’s better to go through part 7

I can't help but leave a review for this game.

I really liked this game, unfortunately not the plot, since I'm fed up with similar stories, especially after the Fallout series. Playing as a character, I felt like not a guest, but a local resident, the initial fight with the Linkatropes and their boss, Kapok, wanted to scare me with the views of the places where I grew up?

I completed it, oddly enough, before Biohazard. In general, the game is not the worst, especially in 2021. But there is one "but". From a real horror it turned into, rather, a shooter. Now I’ll go into more detail:

1. Gameplay. Still, there's not enough horror here. As for me, the scariest moment was in Donna Beneviento’s mansion (small spoiler): you’re walking along the corridor and then suddenly... Bang! Some strange humanoid crawling creature crawls out from around the corner. But it's more of a screamer. Yes, the atmosphere there is terrible. But this is only a small part of the game. Otherwise it's a shooter.

2. Graphics. Beautiful views of the winter village, everything is native: severed goat heads instead of sneakers on wires, some men jumping on the roofs. Nostalgia... But again a n… Read full

What can you say about this game!? In my subjective opinion, the game is quite ambiguous, why I came to this conclusion, let’s figure it out together): Firstly, the developers can give a huge plus for the incredibly beautiful atmosphere of the village. But then everything went ambiguous, ambiguous secondary characters, especially Chris Redfield who for some reason was turned into some kind of torment, there are no interactions with the villagers, there were hopes at the beginning, but they were immediately flushed down the toilet. The combat is also dubious and, as it seemed to me, not interesting; when shooting at enemies, there are no weak spots like in the remake of the second part. The bosses are as interesting as a lady with a doll, everyone else is either just sickeningly monotonous … Read full

An amazing game in which the errors of the 7th part, monotonous monsters and boring locations were corrected, and the shootouts became more interesting and dynamic. And the plot is one of the best among the series of reziks, here it is quite at the level of Resident Evil: Revelations 2. Of the few disadvantages, you can remember the obvious scripts for the movement of monsters due to which you can shoot some with impunity, as they cannot move beyond the boundaries of their script. Some bosses are very easy and not interesting to fight, for example the Countess's daughters.

Let me start with this: DeRE8nya is NOT Survival Horror!

In fact, RE Village is: A Linear Story-Based Action Adventure with Survival Horror ELEMENTS.

The plot is as holey and delusional as possible.

The game is worse than Resident Evil 2 (2019) in all respects.

If you want Survival Horror, play the game Them And Us (2021).

And the village will soon be forgotten due to the lack of replay value and stupid plot.

RE Village (as an adventure) - 7 points out of 10

RE Village (as a Survival Horror) - 4 points out of 10

Based on what is in the game, we can say that the game was actually released to suck out money with little effort in creating the project.

The plot is simply atas, I saw so many holes only in a colander...

The Lords are not revealed and merged, especially everyone’s favorite Cod

(I have nothing against her, they could have made her more important... As much as she hyped)

Although Karl did not hype, he was awarded the same place as Dimetrescu

But if they are even more or less, then the other two (Moro and Donna) are not needed at all... because about them absolutely 0 is known (the only information about them falls out like a dead weight at the end)

The plot is not told evenly... It’s there for a couple of seconds, then it’s not there at all (because you’re cheating), and in the end *pooh* he… Read full

A good game of the "Shooter" genre. For those who played the previous part of this game (RE 7: Biohazard), this part will reveal quite a small part of the plot from which you may be shocked and become even more interested in this universe.

This part is one of my favorites because it is from the 1st person and there are quite a few places in which you can really get into your pants.

The gameplay is quite monotonous, but even because of this you don’t want to quit the game halfway through. Also, with the additions you can get quite a variety of weapons for every taste. I give it a strong 8.5.

My acquaintance with this franchise began with the remake of the third part. This was followed by a remake of the second, seventh and this part of the series. At the beginning, I was skeptical about these games, but as soon as I completed at least one part, I realized that I needed to find a separate shelf in my heart for Resident Evil. Not a single game left behind any unpleasant memories. I went through each one with a great enthusiast and was able to solve most of the riddles myself!

What about this part. I consider the eighth part to be the best in the series at the moment. She competently continued the story of the main character Ethan Winters. This character was familiar to me from the seventh part and I was waiting for his return. He is truly honored to have the Best Father award. T… Read full

WARNING:

THIS OPINION IS SUBJECTIVE, IT IS NOT INTENDED TO OFFEND OR HUMILIATE ANYONE.

!SPOILERS ARE PRESENT!

After the success of Resident Evil 7, which Capcom released as a truly scary, especially at the beginning, horror game with first-person action elements, and not as was the case with the previous RE5 and RE6, which were not horror games AT ALL, the next number part Capcom decided to do in the same vein as 7, but adding action many times, introducing a small, but quite interesting and detailed open world to move through which, in the best traditions of a resident, you need to solve riddles at every corner, and all this should take place in winter, in a Romanian village, which takes us back to the Italian countryside from RE4.

From the very beginning, the game throws incredibly cool plot… Read full

For the life of me, I can’t call the new Reziki Reziki. That's not it. This is not what we know as Resident Evil... And that's not a bad thing. Experiments may be unsuccessful, but not in this case, because, in fact, by moving away from the “nailed” camera, as in classic games, abandoning the third-person view, the developers gave a new look at the familiar series, which is now played differently. This is no longer a horror game, it is rather a cross between an adventure game and a first-person shooter with a solid setting, interesting lore and memorable protagonists. The story is interesting to watch, and Lady Dimitrescu will be in fans’ most obscene dreams for a long time to come.

I recommend you check it out)

A very good game in the series. The plot isn't the most original, but it's still good. The graphics are on par. In terms of gameplay, not much has changed since the previous part. The game is just a good continuation of Resident. Definitely worth playing

What can I write? The game is generally good) let’s start, as usual, with the graphics; they are very high quality and detailed. The plot is mediocre, but I laughed because until the end Chris is silent; I won’t spoil what happens at all, but it was fun 😅. The gameplay is well balanced. The characters are very colorful and detailed, lady dimitreska has gone to the masses 🤩. In short, if you snag the game at a discount, you will like it my rating 8.6/10 😎 good luck traveler and beware of rot!

An excellent continuation of the seventh part, the horror component is reduced to a minimum (there are practically no jump scares or scary moments), good voice acting, colorful characters, few archetypes of enemies, the game has its own charm, atmosphere, and is definitely worth playing.
