One of the three Resident Evil games for the GameCube was made... I don't know why. No, don’t think about it, it’s quite outstanding, but its only plot purpose is to tell what happened before the first part, i.e. how Alpha Squad died and why Rebecca survived. Otherwise, she contributes nothing to the plot. Billy doesn't appear in the plot of the episode again (which is a shame), and Marcus's mansion (as far as I remember) doesn't appear anywhere else either. In general, the plot in Null is a conventional CoD, the task of which is to justify the gameplay and locations. Well, the gameplay was a success. The gameplay has a simply amazing feature - switching between characters, and they can be in different rooms. Finally, you can drop an extra item, and then, when you need it, pick it up. Locations are getting poorer. Of the new ones, in fact, only the train, the rest is a mansion, a laboratory. All. The train is amazing, the mansion and laboratory, although they were already in the first part, do not cause much irritation (maybe because the last time I played the first part was two years ago... and it was Deadly Silence on the DS emulator ). The soundtrack is good. The optimization of the remaster on PC was... well, how can I say... you know the signature AVGN cry? Well, you understand me. FPS sagged like hell. Maybe things have improved now, but I'm not sure. The graphics on the GameCube were normal for that time, but in the remaster they are excellent. It was nice to see why Billy was imprisoned... or rather, how he was framed. It was somewhat reminiscent of Predator, where “brave American warriors” exterminated a village with... only peaceful Asian residents. It’s not that the plot twist is SHOCKING, but seeing this in RE was a little unexpected and pleasant)) Verdict:
