General impression
Entertaining game mechanics, interesting game situations and many interesting ideas taken from other games. This is exactly the first impression of Singularity. Throughout the game, something insignificant is constantly missing to create a complete sensation. The main plot is made exciting and interesting, small notes and audio recordings add points to the game and reveal the story of the tragedy that occurred on the island.
Disadvantages and Advantages
However, problems are created by the overall design of the game in which it is difficult to notice all these secrets, cartridges and improvements for weapons. Everything blends into the overall background due to the style and presentation of the game. As I already said, the game borrowed a lot of ideas with time travel, rotation and control of objects, super powers, and all these ideas fit well into the game. Regardless of what style of play you choose, all the ways to play are quite interesting to try. The level of immersion in the game and the overall increasing dynamics as you progress will make you play until the very end without stopping. Although this may be a minus, since starting to play at first you will experience great difficulty due to the lack of ammunition, first aid kits and weapons at the very beginning of the game, and towards the end the game will resemble call of duty or an easy walk with the destruction of all living things with the right approach improving weapons. The very idea of the game’s plot looks original; according to the canon, there is a charismatic, pathetic villain Demichev, who wants to enslave the world with the help of the E99 isotope found on the island to which you go at the beginning and you have to confront him throughout the game. I also want to note certain game decisions that I didn’t like - these are moments where you have to shoot crowds of enemies until time runs out, but you don’t know about it and waste your ammo.
Features
The game has a damage system in which certain body parts of enemies fly off depending on where you shoot.
There are three endings that you can choose.
A variety of weapons, abilities, skills, a large number of enemies, the presence of bosses.
The game never gets boring due to
truly diverse locations that change one after another very quickly.
Conclusion
On my own behalf, I can reduce another point for inconvenient shooting in certain parts of the body. I will also say that the game has low replay value and there is no point in going through it again. With all this, it is made at a high level and deserves high marks.
