So, I decided to visit the game six months after writing my review.
And after rereading it, I became indignant with myself. I didn’t write at all about what I liked.
But first things first.
I cooled down a little, pulled myself together and decided to re-evaluate the project. To be honest, what I wrote about earlier is still very much alive. God, this energy and flow is killing me. It's horrible. Dear developers, remove this component. Well, the “chess word” is sickening.
To date, the “Mstar” mode has not yet been implemented (someone calls it bubble, it doesn’t matter). Although it was promised to introduce it at the beginning of MBT. Sadness and sadness.
Optimization has not moved forward. It’s a huge disadvantage that after six months of gaming this still hasn’t been sorted out.
Meager rewards for events/competitions. When I see events of this kind (dance a “billion” dances and get a mountain of “crap”), it honestly surprises me. After all, the developers themselves do not spend their personal money on this, it’s just that even for my club (announcing a competition/event) I would be ashamed to give out such awards (although I have to pay for it from my wallet and I won’t earn money from the game). And since the regularity of such events is usually not great, what’s the problem with giving interesting prizes that you won’t mind wasting time on? This is motivation, and it is very difficult to motivate a person, and with such rewards it is impossible... A person who comes to spend time in the game (for a couple of hours) will not stay because of this event (for 5 hours). And such events should provoke precisely such moments.
What has changed in my points over these six months:
1. Aura. Its effect is extended to 5 minutes.
2. Interactives. They began to issue a “3-day coupon” (valid for this period an unlimited number of times). Interactives for points (I’m not sure if it’s all, but some part for sure).
Great additions (even unexpected ones):
1. The ability to farm donated currency by dancing. For dancing, with some probability, wallets will fall (minimum capacity 300) and also the keys to them (of course, this all does not fall like rain from the sky - but that’s how it should be). You activate the wallet, accumulate the maximum amount of content by dancing and open it with the key. You can also purchase keys for donation. This surprised me; it was a great idea.
Most are very upset by the content and this is noticeable online. There are very few people in the game, there is absolutely nothing to do (unless you dance and complete tasks).
If my review magically reaches the developers, I want to ask for everyone (for us, for you and for the special forces), improve these points in the game and you will have “gold, laurels and the highest awards”:
1 Optimization, optimization and optimization again. Take care of this problem. It’s yours, not the players’. If I only suffer from a “jerky background image” when moving, then the rest still lag and crash. This is a big problem. You have gorgeous graphics, but the lack of optimization ruins everything.
2. Enter the “Mstar/Bubble” mode. This is the best mode in dance games (I’m sure there will be those who disagree, but still the majority prefer it).
3. Improve the two modes that are currently in the game. They are still raw and there are a lot of problems there. Jumping space, changing tempo, gradation of space (bad-good-excellent-ideal) which works disgustingly. The beat does not match the tempo of the movements, the music sometimes does not suit the dancing at all.
4. Review the interface. It is boring and not beautiful, uninformative, confusing and not intuitive. This is a problem and needs to be solved.
5. Remove the damn energy. This is not a mobile phone, where you can pick up your phone at any time and spend energy in a game, this is a game on a PC. While you are not in the game (at work, at school), the energy is idle. When players run out of energy, they usually do not use energy drinks; everyone has long ago developed immunity to this provocation, and for a person this is like a trigger “it’s time to end the game.” This is how you kill your online presence. Energy is the negative component of your game.
6. Stones and grooves are another negative component. Either get rid of it or remove the influence on dance and ranking results. Leave a groove to visually improve the clothing; this will interest people no less, but it will not scare them away. I repeat for the hundredth time, the dance rating and the results of the game should not depend on donations to such a large extent.
7. Profile. Playing online implies an informative player profile. Please create it, at this stage it was needed yesterday.
8. The ability to create your own playlist of songs will be a very useful feature in this game (favorite tracks).
9. I’ll return once again to interactivity. Make several interactives for points, and the best ones for a donation. BUT! Don't make them temporary or limited in quantity. Make your purchase forever and once. (I won’t say anything about the aura, damn it!)
This is the main pain of this game, which makes my soul sad.
I want to express my great delight for the artists (and everyone who implements locations, splash banners for this game). Insanely beautiful, charming and bewitching characters on the banners (especially the last banner before the Dragon's Cradle). If it weren't for this beauty, I would have turned around and left during the first launch of the game.
