SpellForce: The Order of Dawn — 6 races lived in the flourishing world: people, elves, gnomes, trolls, orcs and drow (dark elves). Some representatives of these peoples were given magical abilities of varying strength, but one day there appeared those who possessed enormous magical power: thirteen powerful magicians who alone were able to crush armies, shake the earth, and split the tops of mountains. They came together and founded the Circle to stop the chaos happening on earth and establish peace and quiet. The Union was going to revive the Golden Age on earth. The magicians decided that after 500 years they would subjugate the ancient forces of the elements — and one of them would gain incredible power and authority. Five hundred years were to be spent preparing for the Ritual of Summoning, and then a “dark wanderer” would appear and endow one of the Circle’s magicians with power.
