In a nutshell, you can form the final judgment yourself, but, as a person who has played more than 50 hours after the restart, I would like to wish you not to have high expectations for this project or “abandon hope, all who enter here” or “come in - don’t be afraid, come out - don't cry."
This is a project where donation decides and therefore predominates (an ordinary player at some point will get tired of bumping into players with purchased equipment/guns at starting locations), there are unique people sitting in the bushes, cheaters and other inherent delights of the gameplay. Previously, the game featured textures of the mutants from the original Stalker, but now, after the restart of the project, they have greatly sagged both in similarity to the original and in quality of execution (as I understand it, this was done so as not to run into copyright holders, but the implementation is clearly lame). The storyline (IMHO) doesn’t fit into the Stalker plot at all, it’s just an attempt to justify the player’s demand to do cyclical tasks, go find/fetch/kill/find in the specified area.
