To figure out what this so-called cost is. "mobile Stellaris", it only took me half an hour. I tested it even during MBT/t. n. "early access" or immediately upon release.
Unfortunately, between this game and the original series of games with the same name from the respected studio Paradox Interactive, the only thing in common is the name, and the fact that Paradox is listed as the developer/publisher. (Which, by the way, IMHO, does not add honor and respect to them, rather, on the contrary). In fact, these are completely different games. Moreover, this game is just as much not a real-time strategy as the original games are already classics and the “gold standard” of the strategy genre.
This game is more similar to such non-strategy grind farms as Nova Empire/Infinite Galaxy/Galaxy Lagrange/Stellar Age/Eve:War of Ascension/Star trek: Fleet Command/ Astronest/Nova Storm/Clash of stars/Galaxy battleship and etc. All of these games are united by several mechanics embedded in them, designed to entice players to donate-donat-donat to the greatest extent.
This, first of all, is that most of the gameplay is aimed at PvE, in other words, “hunting for NPCs”, with only one goal - knocking out the necessary components for improving ships.
In addition, they all just have an avalanche of loot boxes, which is also aimed at donating money to a greater extent than they are worth.
And finally, the most important thing, IMHO, is the biggest minus, which completely denies that all of these games belong to the RTS (real-time strategy) genre.
Here the combat system, in the form of wall-to-wall auto combat, is rendered to the maximum extent. More primitive combat, or rather similar, in games of the vertical scrolling shooter subgenre. But there, at least you really control in real time (what you play, be it an airplane/helicopter/spaceship/vehicle with weapons). Here there is no way to control anything directly in battle.
In a word, I, with all my passionate “love” for Stellaris in particular, and for space games in general, did not like this game just like all the above.
It’s not that it wasn’t even close in comparison to StVega (Vega Conflict), but even next to Galaxy Reavers 2 it just looks like a wretched, pathetic and primitive piece of work. Designed rather for complete beginners, who have not seen really cool, magnificent games in the space RTS genre before (for example, Star wars: Empire at war).
