Swat 4 is one of the few games that does not reward for killing, but on the contrary, the more bandits left alive, the more points you get, which motivates you to use grenades (noise, stun and gas). You can play alone or with friends.
Each task has 2 entry points (front) and (back) which allows you to choose how to play.
Bandits and hostages always appear in different places, which makes it difficult to simply learn a map and play the same way, each time the game goes differently. There are non-lethal types of weapons and ammunition, which makes it easier to keep everyone alive and allows you to get more points. There is a system for taking damage, sometimes you die from 1 hit, and sometimes you survive from a dozen hits. If you hit it in the hand, the spread will increase; if you hit it in the leg, you won’t be able to run.
There is a good arsenal.
PP (pistols - machine guns), PT (pistols), shockers, ShV (assault rifles), SV (sniper rifle), DK (shotguns), machine gun, grenade launcher (with non-lethal shells).
Without armor, light armor, heavy armor, Helmet, gas mask and NVG (night vision device)
Pouch (allows you to carry an extra clip), Probe (allows you to look around corners and under doors),
Locker (allows you to block the door from 1 side), gas, noise and stun grenades, pepper spray,
Shotgun (for knocking down locked doors), pliers (for picking a lock and defusing a bomb ) and C2 (for exploding a locked door).
There are different types of shooting (Automatic, burst and semi-automatic) and different types of ammunition
There is damage to allies
There is a chest camera for a partner (common for single-player games with bots ) (only for your team (blue and red))
The blue team is the guys who enter from the main entrance, the red team is the team that enters from the secondary entrance
There are different types of modes for multiplayer, (I won’t name them because I don’t really remember them due to the fact that I only play standard)
