I’ve never been a fan of Borderlands, but because of my love for Telltale and the interactive movie genre, I decided not to miss such a product, especially when all the episodes had already been released. Besides, for some reason I’m not drawn to the rest of the “telltail” stuff: I don’t like Game of Thrones, The Wolf and the Walkers are long gone, and Minecraft – ummm, well, yes. I decided to leave my review of the game in the form of a mini-review for each episode.
Episode 1 - fun and unexpected.
I am very pleased with the plot and development of the plot, interesting characters, and excellent humor. A clever ending that makes you wonder what will happen next.
Episode 2 - perhaps the weakest episode
There are a couple of interesting moments, still good humor, and an excellent, I would even say, simply magnificent plot
Episode 3 - one of best episodes
Ending, cool QTE moments, smooth switching between characters, unexpected moments, the beginning of new storylines, no matter how strange it may sound
Episode 4 - unexpected
Dynamics, tension and intrigue of what is happening , unexpected turns, character discoveries, radical changes in opinions about the heroes
Episode 5 - the long-awaited denouement
They finally explain to us what really happened, and we get answers to all the questions that interest us, a couple of unexpected moments, drama and emotion, an ending hinting at a sequel
Tales From the Borderlands is one of the best games from Telltale Games. A game filled with sparkling humor, action-packed, with many interesting characters. And even despite the technical side, you must play this game
