I’ve never been a fan of Borderlands, but because of my love for Telltale and the interactive movie genre, I decided not to miss such a product, especially when all the episodes had already been released. Besides, for some reason I’m not drawn to the rest of the “telltail” stuff: I don’t like Game of Thrones, The Wolf and the Walkers are long gone, and Minecraft – ummm, well, yes. I decided to leave my review of the game in the form of a mini-review for each episode.

Episode 1 - fun and unexpected.

I am very pleased with the plot and development of the plot, interesting characters, and excellent humor. A clever ending that makes you wonder what will happen next.

I liked the game because I'm a fan of Boards and Telltale.

If other Telltale games have a serious undertone, a moody atmosphere and a lot of dialogue, then here they removed a little of the moodiness and added the signature (dark) humor of Borderlands.

The gameplay is the same as in any interactive novel/quest: a dialogue, during which there is/is not a branch depending on the player’s decisions, after which you need to find the necessary objects in this scene and move on. Only this is still an interactive novel - a lot of dialogue, a bit of searching for objects, and periodically QTE in the form of a chase/shootout.
