And now I see the ending. Beautiful, giving off a pleasant feeling of a really big cozy adventure, where, although not all problems have been solved, but thanks to you they are able to finally end the war and start living... And everything seems beautiful, but bitch you can’t heal scars with such sour cream!
Although I love JRPGs for the feeling of a truly huge lamp adventure, but damn how much they did not for people... And okay, the battles. Having pumped up and played around with tactics, you can live quite well, even if at the beginning it’s still hard-to-manage shit. Well, why the hell in a Japanese game, where EVERYTHING grew from the characters, all the main features of their personality are hidden in fucking videos at save points? If you don’t include them, the entire playthrough will have several relatively calm dialogue scenes without “should do this, should do that.” Working with characters seems castrated. Only they didn’t at least throw out the bells, but threw them into saves, which weren’t really needed because of the ability to save like that.
And you know, it’s a shame! Although the plot is typical of a fairy tale about good and evil, in some places there are still good characters who are stupidly not allowed to unfold. Yes, even with the scenes there is such bullshit! One example will suffice: To complete the ritual, you need to decide who will be burned by the flame, his spirit friend or himself. Realizing the pain, he decides to do everything himself, but his girlfriend shields him. Cute, beautiful, but this fucking flame, logically, should at least somehow give a scar, suffering or something else. But in reality it was a stupid “ouch” and there was no fucking way. At the same time, music may not be selected for this or any moment at all. It can play both the theme of the location and the hefty bullshit. Working with drama is downright lazy, although damn they are trying! Exactly 2 scenes came out well. And because of this, the whole production is either boredom, or a waste, or an unfulfilled diligent attempt. Alas, the last case of horror is so rare, and in 50 (!) hours, God willing, I will remember 6 scenes where they really tried with the staging.
2 out of 5
The first hours are incredibly unplayable boredom. Towards the end, I began to accept many of the mistakes and the plot and characters began to improve. But here you can judge for yourself whether the game really turned out well afterwards or whether I got used to the taste of mediocrity and inflated the rating because of this.
