Games Talos Principle All reviews Review from Игорь Побережец

If you had told me a few years ago that the creators of a meaty shooter about the adventures of Serious Sam would create a philosophical puzzle, honestly, I would have laughed. But Croteam really created such a game and, to my surprise, a very successful one.

Why is she so good? It's simple! It has a plot that makes you think, puzzles that are not too difficult, but often require you to use your brain. And all this is framed in good level design and meditative music.

It is not so simple and tries to raise the themes of self-knowledge, reason, consciousness and choice. Puzzles are just entertainment, albeit interesting ones.

The goal of the game is to collect special blocks - Sigils - in order to open the way to new levels and the finale. To obtain Sigils, you need to turn off energy walls and other barriers. To do this, you need to direct a beam of energy using special devices. It sounds simple, but with each new level the mechanics will become more complex. First there will be bombs that fly, then there will be cubes (like in the portal), buttons, fans, and it will even be possible to create your own copy from recorded actions. Along with the mechanics, the level design will also change, from the ruins of Ancient Greece, Egypt to European castles.

The Talos Principle is a very bright and unusual game that can interest many and not get boring until the credits roll.

Take it and you will get a lot of emotions.
