How to borrow a bunch of things from successful leaders of the genre, and build a project that loses to the victims of borrowing, without forgetting to season it all with horse donut? Nexon knows!!
If we compare TFD with its competitors, then this craft is worse:
- The movement system, both functionally and visually (the animations are really bad, ha! Pun)
- Weapons, their variety (it’s really a beggar, but pushing shotguns into the category of heavy guns is... hmm), the impact from shooting is sluggish, the enemy almost does not react at all to hits? Except for throwing out numbers (I was especially amused by the enemy’s explosion on a leg after a critical kill: D)
- Farm, God, this is a huge cesspool where you feel like you’re sitting with a fork near the push and peeling, peeling, peeling, with zero variability. The game has an analogue of relics from Warf, only the chances of a drop there are microscopic and there is no alternative to going with four, thereby increasing the chances by 4 times, as in the same Warf there is no! A grade of relics only for a resource that drops with a small chance from the same missions where you get a relic, unlike the same warf, has only one grade level.
These relics are mined in different places (fortunately, in the game it’s enough to just look at the place where they drop), but usually the place where this relic drops has no alternatives, if it is said that it can only be obtained by STEALTH completing a micro-event that rolls back for 5 minutes, then you won't get it to anyone else.
If a relic falls during an assassination mission, then you have no alternative to speedrunning to the boss of the location, you are forced to clean up the location, go through defense or capture, sometimes all together, and you just feel like you’re wasting your time, because opponents are killing themselves on you.
some resources fall only from boxes on the level, which is very fun (no :/)
- The matchmaking system sucks, although initially I found it interesting, you run around open locations and any player can come to the rescue you on a mission just by shooting at the enemy! Wow! *I thought* this is cool, until I found out that only 4 people can be on the map at a time. and often it will be 3 afk players waiting for a cooldown of a 5-minute micro-event to play for 20 seconds and start afk again. so often you will pull missions in salty, in a cooperative game. I think this could be corrected by increasing the number of players to 8, for example in open small locations.
- The abilities are just crap, they are quite monotonous for the most part, but sometimes there is something unique like a turret. the standard set is always something for movement, something for a zone attack (aka a grenade, someone just throws it, someone places it, someone runs with it in their hand), something in the form of a projectile, and maybe ultimates, more or less vary.
- Donate space here, cosmetics are disposable, if you want to paint a couple of your charms, buy more, no endless palettes for you like in the same war
- The plot is presented as sparsely as possible, the game has 3-4 cutscenes, the rest is through a dialog box, or else it’s better through non-boiling bullshit in the background (I love it when the game makes you stand and just listen to your comrades’ bullshit, not allowing continue the quest chain)
- The locations feel like a stock set of levels from the Anril Engine, nothing extraordinary
I would continue the list, but the game does not evoke any feelings in me other than disappointment, I hoped, I was waiting for the game to captivate me , will entertain, will allow me to jump back into a genre that is interesting to me, but summing up all of the above, there is nothing in the game except Korean asses, and for These Korean asses are worth nothing except flat, stereotyped characters.
Those who decide to jump into this... Dummy, play with Korean voice acting, so at least you won’t get face palms from sound synchronization in cutscenes, and Bunny won’t be the same for you very annoying with her voice as an English voice actress.
I tried, went through the entire main campaign, killed colossi, including the hard difficulty, I wasn’t attracted, I wasn’t impressed, I honestly wasted my time, it’s a pity. The fact that the steering wheel34 still doesn’t have even a couple of pages of content shows that even the assholes turned out pretty bad.
