Tax. All in all. Where to start?
Plot.
The plot in The Free Ones is complete callas. There are no memorable characters (I still didn’t remember the name of the main character until the end of the game). The plot about the miners and the virus is not revealed at all. They didn’t really talk about the virus, or even about the miners themselves.
Gameplay.
Here things are much better, the grappling hook is great. True, it has a short distance over which it can be used. But these are gameplay features. Hurricane flights across half the map are something. It happened that I crossed the map so quickly that even the dialogues were layered on top of each other. Gameplay is the hallmark of this game. I played it for the gameplay, not the story. After about 40 minutes of playing, I turned off the sound of the dialogues completely so as not to be distracted from the crazy action.
Total.
The game itself is not bad, if you forget about the plot. It would be much better if the developers made a regular arcade game divided into levels. So, if you want fast gameplay and you are drawn to some just cause or A story about my uncle, then this game is definitely for you)
