I watched playthroughs of the first part many times immediately after the release, so even though I didn’t play it, I know it almost by heart.
I also watched the first season of the HBO series, which wildly amazed me in places with its accuracy relative to the original. I didn’t watch the walkthrough of the second part, because by the time the second part came out, I decided for myself that I wanted to play such projects myself, and I didn’t want any spoilers, even if I wouldn’t be buying a curling iron any time soon.
And when I bought myself the 5th curling iron (2 months after watching the series), and saw a discount on the second part, I decided that it wouldn’t be bad to go through it.
Graphically, the game is gorgeous, the facial animations are amazing every time (I completed it twice in one month), the musical accompaniment is generally a special respect to the developers. I don’t know how to describe it, but even in tense moments in cut scenes, when the characters are silent and there is no music, even silence has a special sound.
In terms of the plot, in comparison with the first part, it seems to me that it turned out a little less cool than with the first part, but still the plot was interesting to me.
