Wonderful first part, unlike the second.

History in the near, but extremely bleak future, filled with cruelty, violence, death and people zombied by mushrooms.

The picture paints colorful surreal landscapes of abandoned cities and emerald greenery, the apocalypse and new life blooming on its ruins.

The plot tells about the difficult relationship between Joel, who lost his family, and a teenage girl, Ellie. There are questions from fathers and children, emotions of loss and regret, difficult memories and moments of new trust.

The game turned out to be a godsend among many mediocre projects. And although the storyline is straight as an arrow, this does not make the story itself worse.

20 years have passed since the fungus that turns people into zombies began to spread across the earth. From the moment when the main character of the game, Joel, lost his daughter. Humanity is slowly dying out. As is humanity. But, unexpectedly for the protagonist, there is a girl who can save both people and himself.

This game is a journey comparable to the road movie genre in cinema. The heroes go to their goal through a post-apocalyptic world captured by the infected. But they are not always the worst enemy. Much worse are the survivors, who can either help our couple or wish for death. At best.

An incredibly atmospheric and cool game. The impression was not much blurred by the fact that I played on a PC via PS NOW, and even without localization - into the English version. But still, this is one of the best games of my life! A masterpiece!! I recommend it!

It’s strange that I only learned about such a great game in 2020, when the second part was released. The idea with a mutant fungus is very original, and as a result there are unusual opponents. The graphics are top notch, the locations in post-apocalyptic America are simply mesmerizing. Moreover, the developers presented us with a real apocalypse, where violence and cruelty reign, and humanity is desperately fighting for existence. In an extreme situation, everyone showed their true colors. So, conscientious people rallied and helped each other. Those who were weak in soul robbed and killed innocents. A very interesting and atmospheric project. Not very difficult to complete, which is good. But it’s disappointing that they removed online, it was a very balanced and atmospheric mode. When you are looking for a skating rink for 10 minutes and then play for an hour with the same people, it was a very unpopular mode. But the game is good, I recommend it to everyone.

This game is a masterpiece of the industry, not like part 2. In my opinion, the top 3 game in history (after the Half-Life and The Witcher series) along with the Tomb Raider series and the best PlayStation copy of all time.

The plot is very cool and atmospheric, each character is excellent. Well, seriously, I don’t see any flaws in terms of the plot. The graphics on the PS3 (obviously not the newest console in 2013) look good.

In general, the game is amazing, there is nothing more to say. For those who haven’t played, I advise you to start, you won’t regret it
