I've been a fan of the Sims series for a long time, ever since the very first game. Which I played on a friend's computer. The second part burst into my world unexpectedly. My brother and I just recently purchased our first computer. Well, of course, the first thing we did was go for the games. We bought two discs at once. The first of them was NFS, and the second game was Sims 2: University.
What new does this add-on add to the game? Well, first of all, now Sims can go to the University after studying and get a higher education. But that's not the only thing that awaits them there. An incredible adventure filled with fun awaits your young Sim on campus.
To enroll in university, your Sim has two options. The first one is to call the phone and then a taxi will come for him. The second is through city mode. Then the whole family can go to university.
In total, your Sim can be accommodated on campus or in a local dormitory, where other students will live. Or move him into a private house by renting it.
The training system is built on mastering educational material and passing exams. Sim himself enters the chosen faculty (there are only 11 of them: Mathematics, Physics, History, Psychology, Political Science, Art History, Biology, Acting, Economics, Literature, Philosophy) for four courses. Each course is divided into 2 semesters, at the end of which the Sim is sent to take an exam. Passing depends on whether your Sim completed assignments throughout the semester and attended classes.
After graduating from the university, your Sim is awarded a diploma and a party is held in honor of the graduates. Afterwards he can return to his parents' home or start living separately.
The Sims 2: University is a great addition to the original Sims game. In which you will really have something to do, so you shouldn’t pass by it.
