First, this is not a metroidvania. Abilities are exclusively combat. They have little effect on gameplay, only a little on combat. Secondly, don’t expect much from the plot. Gods, dying world, chosen one. The third is a platformer. Yes, with elements of the hollow knight (or dark souls, as you like). Fourth, only bosses and some weapons are of interest. Fifth, there are only a couple of interesting mechanics. In battle, there is a mode for restoring stamina and magic and a set of ability scales tied to this. In general, as a platformer it can be playable. but there is no metroidvania in the game.
