Phew, I still barely got through shitcher2. There will be SPOILERS ahead! Well, the plot is wooden and stupid from the very beginning: the herold is caught at the “crime scene” and accused of what he did, and where did Foltest’s children go, who at least saw that he had nothing to do with it? Then comes the stupid tedium: “I’ll find the murderer and punish”, and then at the end: “Well, this is revenge, maybe we’d better have a beer?” WTF? The plot is just rock bottom.
Additional quests made the main plot much more interesting, and the graphics are also very nice. This is where the advantages of the game end.
The combat is, of course, better than the flawed clicker of the first part, but in essence it is a “blow-roll”, and so on in a circle. There are also idiotic QTEs and “let’s arm wrestle” in the game. The constant respawn of monsters also infuriates me: I killed the drowners near the camp, ran 100 meters away, returned, and they were all there again, and in the forest there was generally a hard respawn.
Well, that’s bad, comrades red CDs, good games are at least as far away as the moon...
