5 years have passed since the game was released, but how often can you hear “But it still can’t compare with The Witcher...”
This is true.
The Witcher is the best fairy tale for adults and a unique RPG in the entire history of games (all 3 parts of the series, not only Wild Hunt); the best male character (our charismatic Geralt) as well as a bewitching and unusual woman (Yennefer... finally Geralt met her!) and, accordingly, their love story...; atmospheric soundtrack (which, for example, is worth only “Priscilla’s Song”, after which you will shed tears like for the first time...)); best humor (especially from Dandelion and Zoltan!); quests... they will be discussed separately below.
I would like to say right away that if you have not played the 1st and 2nd parts (are there such?)), then I think that, although not necessary, it is advisable to find out who Geralt and his friends are before the Wild Hunt and what exactly is going on here. If the graphics from the first one are eye-watering for you and all that, then take a look at at least a short overview of what it's about... but I assure you, you'll like it!
Let's return to the Wild Hunt...
Running through fields, forests and swamps (I played the game with headphones), the wind howled indescribably as if you were really there! It makes the branches on the trees and flowers sway, the hair of the characters, you see and hear it all! The rays of the sun are blinding! At every step there are sorcerers, villagers, herbalists, vampires, islanders, lowlifes, and whoever there is, and everyone needs something from us. You won’t be bored, because you simply won’t see SUCH quests anywhere else. 5 years... And everyone is still trying to do something similar, but no one succeeds and is unlikely to succeed... Forget even games with “choice of answer options” where something supposedly depends on you... If you remember The Witcher “Assassins of Kings”, then for the player’s alternative solution, they ended up making separate half of the game! Here, even the usual order “go kill” don’t go kill, and each quest/contract giver has his own mini story and often the issue can be resolved even differently. Each quest is unique!
In general, if you haven’t completed this masterpiece yet, then I think 99.99999999% of people here will be very jealous of you... After all, this is exactly the same game and that world when you want to forget everything and go through it again, not knowing what
awaits ahead!..
Although the ending is excellent, but...
