To be honest, I completed The Witcher for a long time and painfully.
For me, the most incomprehensible and terribly inconvenient thing was the controls.
The story is more or less interesting, but... I didn’t get to know her when the game was released, but now this acquaintance was difficult for me. I'm used to playing RPGs with Morrowind mechanics. Everything is completely different here. What was most infuriating was the attack followed by the mouse click and the top view, which was later adapted to modern RPGs.
The plot is not bad, the atmosphere really feels... so... ancient Russian. This is cool. This hasn't happened for a long time. The sounds and music are very monotonous, but for such an old game this is forgivable.
There are some minor complaints about the localization; the voice actors sometimes stop trying and voice out phrases in a dull mumble.
