Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike — in 2012, Kazakhstan fell into chaos. The President of Kazakhstan, along with the Security Council, are killed in a bombing carried out by a notorious Afghan terrorist and arms dealer named Assad Raheel. With the president dead, the Kazakh military is creating rifts in factions vying for political control of the country. Rahil quickly takes over and consolidates power using his corrupt Kazakh military contacts. A large group of soldiers loyal to Kazakhstan are working closely with US ground forces to stabilize the region. The Ghosts were sent to capture Rachel and neutralize his military presence. They work closely with a Kazakh military man named Grigory Kozlov. The Ghosts, along with Kozlov, cover up UN ground attacks on Rachel's troops and track him from the southern mountain ranges to the receding arid badlands.
