Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow — the gameplay is not much different from the 1st part of the series. The game's graphics have been slightly improved. Sam now has at his disposal a pistol with a laser sight, which shoots much more accurately than its previous counterpart, plus new grenades. Sam learned to open doors while dragging the enemy's body and to whistle. To overcome open passages undetected, Sam was given an ability called a "SWAT turn." In addition, he learned how to do a half-double jump. The PS2 and NGC versions received an additional jungle scene (an expanded heroin refinery level). The only item that disappeared from the inventory was the chemical illuminator, to which enemies reacted incorrectly.
