In short, the game is terrible. Why? First things first...
Gameplay. It is not far removed from the previous parts, but avid players probably noticed slightly changed physics, although many modes were transferred almost unchanged, and maps can be transferred from old parts. One of the huge disadvantages is that the developers prevented map creators from giving their creations names, and completely prohibited them from making their own skins and custom models. As a result, the game turned into a set of tracks with a bunch of numbers and hordes of clones riding across the open spaces... In general, they turned it out as best they could..
The graphics have gotten better. There really is something to look at, beautiful shadows and reflections. Fans of high-quality graphics will like it.
Oh yes.. since we moved on to sound design.. The ability to add your own music both to the tracks and to the game in general was also removed from the game. Also, the ability to create your own textures for tracks has disappeared... Everything is bad.
Despite all these disadvantages, the developers have no intention of eliminating them or somehow appeasing the players. Instead they just update VR devices.. God, who needs them? A normal helmet costs as much as a good computer, not to mention the fact that it needs just such a computer to work... There are 4 disabled people skating online, and they add a VR update. Great.. just great..
But what kind of candy could have come out of this part, if it hadn’t been linked to UPLAY, but by linking it entirely to Steam, and making a random drop of car skins (horns, models cars, music sets, a lot more).. That would be just cool.
But.. Nadeo decided to go their own way..
