Pass and forget.
We will make our own “The Witcher 3”, with our own blackjack and vampires. London is very reminiscent of AC:Syndicate, only more arcade-like. This is not a pure RPG, it is a typical slasher with a little immersion in history.
Pros:
1. The vampire world and a very deep immersion in the spirit of the era, a time of serious illness. Nice picture and sound.
2. The ability to choose the hero’s behavior and actions that will affect the ending of the game.
3. There is a choice of melee and ranged weapons, and the ability to play with your own style, change weapons at any time.
4. Interesting plot (which makes you want to complete the game), constant tension in the game (enemies are always stronger than you), even when moving around the neighborhoods.
Cons:
1. Terrible combat, if a long-range weapon does not miss, then there are already problems with a short-range weapon: more than half of the misses on enemies, inconvenient maneuvering, terrible aiming on the enemy, auto-aim, enemy strikes cause damage even if the enemy missed .
2. Stamina - the ability to act in close combat, including movement - is screwed in to tie up the player’s actions and lead him to more careful actions and tactics (against a superior enemy), which ultimately causes disappointment in the game.
3. The system of dialogues and hints is terrible, everything seems to be clear at the top, but in the end it turns out to be nonsense in the actions, since following the hints is necessary to gain more experience when killing NPCs, which contradicts getting a positive ending.
4. The RPG component is disappointing, since there are few experience points and you only need to upgrade the basic skills for a comfortable game (life level, stamina, amount of stored blood in reserve) as a result, the vampire specialization remains undeveloped. There is no automatic leveling of skills and their increase; to improve skills you need to sleep.
5. The level system of enemies increases not from the level of the hero, but from the level of completion of the plot in the game, and the damage caused by enemies is determined from the component of how many levels they are higher than you, which pushes you to level up. And naturally, enemies below the level die from one hit.
6. You can’t drink blood whenever you want, you need to reduce the enemy’s endurance level and only then will the opportunity appear. The level of endurance when consuming blood is recalculated again, with complication, which causes bewilderment, since the target does not weaken when losing blood, but gains even more resistance.
7. The game is arcade-like, the map is small, access to many areas will be closed, as a result, you will open the entire map for free movement only by the 5th stage of the game.
Total. You will enjoy 1/3 of the game, although there will be a slight misunderstanding of the game. The remaining 2/3 of the game, you either want to go through the plot as quickly as possible, or finish this game as quickly as possible, because everything in it is not..... Not completed, not completed, underdeveloped. And after passing, all that remains is a deep feeling of disappointment.
