I started playing on the project at the end of 2017, it’s a pretty realistic game, considering that it positions itself as an arcade shooter. In my opinion, there are 4 global problems in the game. Firstly, there is little damage from some models of aircraft weapons to aircraft, most pronounced on aircraft guns of 37, 40, 45, 50 mm caliber. Secondly, a wild nerf to large-caliber shells, especially land mines and HESH land mines. often a shot from a T-34 is more effective than from a KV-2. The same applies to aerial bombs, ATGMs and NARs (especially high-explosive ones), the FAB-5000 “five-ton” especially suffers from this, because you can hide from it behind a textured (indestructible) mountain of garbage. Thirdly, due to the curved mechanics of volumetric projectiles, very often what should not penetrate and ricochets off what should not ricochet. Also, if let’s say the SU-152 didn’t penetrate someone into the connection between the turret and the hull, then a projectile weighing 45-50 kg simply dissolves without damage, without even breaking the horizontal drive of the turret. Fourthly, light vehicles have a half-break mechanic (destruction of the hull), which means that if a projectile with a caliber of 75 mm or more hits a structural element of such a vehicle, it should be destroyed, but this often does not happen. It turns out that anti-aircraft guns often turn out to be more durable than a heavy tank
Briefly about the advantages: modular damage system; lack of lighting mechanics; there are modes where tanks/ships fight alongside aircraft; there is a spread, but it is constant and so tiny that if you download the “gun sighting” modification, it will be invisible
Another disadvantage is the higher entry threshold than in WoT and the fact that you have to bind almost the entire keyboard + keyboard shortcut. But still, the game is wonderful, I recommend it to everyone, it straightens your arms and teaches you to think, which is useful not only in other games, but sometimes in real life
