War Thunder is currently one of the best multiplayer flight simulators. Of course, the game does not pretend to be a real simulation of airplane control, but even here, in the “Realistic Combat” mode, you will feel the full brunt of combat in the air: from an empty gas tank to the pilot’s overload. Since War Thunder is a free game, there is an element of leveling up here, for each nation individually. There are both disadvantages and advantages here: on the one hand, you are pushed to donate, on the other, you gradually move on to more advanced machines, and therefore to more difficult battles.
At the moment, the only competitor to War Thunder in the air is World of Warplanes, which is inferior to the game from Gaijin in many aspects. Moreover, War Thunder already offers players not only air battles, but also ground battles - tanks are available in almost every nation. Thus, one game competes with two developments Wargaming.net at once and, I must say, very successfully. By the way, in War Thunder both air and ground equipment can participate on the same battlefield, and it is planned to introduce naval equipment soon.
Thus, War Thunder is a decent multiplayer simulator of military equipment, in which fierce battles are already taking place both on the ground and in the air.
