I, like many, became a victim of my own high expectations, even if they were not just made up, unlike the plot of this game.😉

Let's start with the plot, it really doesn't make much sense, it doesn't catch or touch you at all, just like the main character himself, for the most part you just simply don't care about him. As for the musical accompaniment, it’s not much better than the plot, it’s quite boring, and even starts to infuriate at times. If we talk about the characters in general (not counting our main character), then they are very, very good, we can say that they are the most developed in this game, they are quite emotional, they have their own style, at times they joke, and They joke well. If we talk about the gaming world as a whole, it is also quite good and beautiful in its own w… Read full

Pros

The atmosphere is so noir-like Chicago at night and so more or less bright during the day, just mind-blowing in the good sense of the word.

The plot - the game is banal but very interesting

Leveling up - the game has a lot of skills and they are all unique in their own way

Reputation - the game has a certain number of bad and good things to do and it all depends on you, who you are to those around you as a hero in a mask or another villain

Investigations - the game has some additional tasks and they each have their own history and are unique

Points - the game has a kind of collecting where you need to check in at each point, there are a lot of them, but still interesting

The gameplay is very interesting, you can hack any equipment from traffic lights to an ATM

Mini-Games — there are a lot of… Read full

I've completed all three parts so far! And I was very pleased. But the first one remains the most memorable for me. Subsequent parts are brighter and more vanilla.

When I first saw the Watch Dogs trailer I was very impressed, I even pre-ordered it. But after playing the game I was very disappointed. After 10 o'clock I got tired of it. The plot is average, not dull but at the same time not dragging.

The graphics are not ice, even on small advertisements it is impossible to properly read what is written there because everything is blurry, and this despite the fact that I have a powerful computer configuration.

What I was most tired of were the towers that had to be “opened” in order for a new area to become available to you; the same idea was in Assassin’s Creed.

The physics in the game also suffers - cars do not deform properly during an accident, when fired into water there are no traces of a shot at all!

A lot can be said about this game, but it… Read full

Watch_Dogs is a beautiful and interesting game, but only in trailers. I was expecting an exciting adventure about hackers, but what I received was an unfinished and cut-up product.

It's unfortunate that Ubisoft failed to realize its ambitions and failed resoundingly. Only the lazy did not criticize WD, but not everything is as bad as they say. Yes, the game is unfinished, the graphics have deteriorated (partially this can be corrected with graphic mods), hacking comes down to pressing and holding one button. The hacking functionality itself consists of changing the color of the traffic light, activating an obstacle on the road, turning off lights in the entire city, hacking and controlling the camera, explosions on the roads, raising/lowering bridges, and also hacking the system using a min… Read full

Mixed impressions of the game, on the one hand there is something to praise the game for. It has interesting mechanics that are not found in other games, a quite nice picture for 2014 (even despite the downgrade of graphics that everyone was whining about at release), again, it’s interesting to walk around virtual Chicago, it’s beautiful, big, well-designed, and not only Chicago, but in general all locations, because in addition to the city there is a rural area, an industrial zone, and so on. I like stealth games and a lot of things in the game are designed specifically for stealth, I was pleased to play such missions.

There are those same towers, so “favorite” by many, but they also have a plus, because here they represent hacking into a panel with information, and the panel itself is lo… Read full

I love games from Ubisoft! No, seriously. How much can cut-off projects be passed off as a finished product? Watch Dogs would be an excellent game if it were not for the proprietary glitches and bugs of yubi games. No, you can, of course, configure the game so that it works acceptably (and no, I don’t have an antediluvian system), I tinkered with the settings for about an hour, and got a more or less stable 40 fps. The simulation of the world that the developers promised works, but it’s always the same, you can’t see anything new. Car chases are just hell: the physics of the car is no good, you can get used to it, but it’s still far from GTA . Vaunted hacks that work with one button, a blurry and unoriginal plot, and most importantly: Watch Dogs is half of Assassin's Creed (towers, charact… Read full
