May the fans of this game forgive me, but now there will be a lot of discontent. I will try to be objective, but this title caused me a lot of negative emotions and complaints. I want to start by saying that a shooter, in my understanding, is an ordinary shooter that should entertain the gamer. I don’t understand why some chapters are devoted to the stupid search for a welding machine in your, so to speak, apartment shelter. What is this? This is such stupid savagery, I played and couldn’t believe my eyes. Seriously though. What's interesting in a stupid corridor fetch and serve mission. In a shooter? In wolfenstein? Seriously? There’s also a whole chapter to dedicate to this, and there aren’t that many chapters here. And they go through it in about 20 minutes. It really infuriated me. Well, okay, maybe there are some people out there who are interested in doing this nonsense. Suddenly I don’t understand something.
As you understand from the first complaint, there is very little real shooter content. More or less, the movement begins only in the last chapters. There I more or less got what I wanted. Not without quibbles, of course, but at least it’s something.
I remember any part of Wolf (2001) and remember those bosses that I, as a child, passed through more than one day at a time. And I still remember them, even what mission they were on. These are not bosses here. These are stupid targets that I will forget within a week. Alas, disappointment again.
Graphically the game is quite beautiful for its year, this is in order. By the sound, I want to say that somehow the sound of shooting reminded me of one of the Activision games, where the sounds of shots also made me experience some discomfort in my ears. Plot? Well, that's not what the game is about. As my friend said: it has an awesome plot, the ending is absolutely fire, play it. Hmm, I played. It’s not clear to me where he saw the cool plot. For me, the plot in Watch dogs was even more interesting than here. Well, apparently there are some that are not too demanding on the plot, maybe someone will like it. Separately, I would like to add a personal complaint (maybe this is my personal taste), why select cartridges manually? When the game seems to encourage you to kill the enemy and pick up his clip. Why do this? To do this, I had to press a button on the keyboard forever, it was incredibly annoying. Well, now to the positives. The last chapters, where there was a lot of shooting, at least somehow pleased me and I got in them what I installed the game for. That's all.
To sum it up, I'm personally disappointed with the reimagining of this series. I myself am a fan of Wolf, but this creation caused me negativity and misunderstanding how it was possible to make an hour of a good gameplay shooter, and the rest is corridor slag with idiotic type quests with a plot. I am very indignant. Of course, there are probably fans who probably haven’t seen many shooters, but for me it’s a failure. I don't recommend it.
P.s. I don’t evaluate multiplayer and localization.
