Wolfenstein The Old Blood is a prequel to The New Order, about the adventures of BJ Blazkowicz. Although it takes about five hours to complete, it is more interesting to play than the original game. Everything is in the best traditions of RTCW: a castle covered in swastikas, Nazi zombies, the occult and heaps of enemies. In general, the main reason I love these games is the blood, guts, meat on the walls and cool weapon physics. You get a lot of pleasure from shooting. But the impressions from the very beginning were spoiled by the flawed ID Tech 5. It is damaged not because of the picture, but because of the crooked technical component. In The New Order, textures were loaded when the camera was rotated, just like in Rage. There was simply an unimaginable blevodrome here. An epileptic's dr… Read full

A wonderful prequel to New Order and, at the same time, a wonderful remake of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Solid, old-fashioned action, complemented by good graphics and PIPE! Oh, that pipe! The pipe is our everything! Buy, take a machine gun in each hand and go “take down” Helga’s and Skull’s accomplices right and left! If you like New order - definitely buy it, if you miss meat - buy it, if you want to catch a touch of nostalgia in a new, modern wrapper - buy it (oh, those catacombs and the cemetery). The game deserves high ratings and positive reviews, it is worthy of praise!

Old Blood is not even close to the standards of New Order. Very disappointed and expected a lot more, but first things first:

1) Extremely dull missions, devoid of drive and dynamics New Order.

The first reason for this is the microscopic locations in which we spend most of our time spinning around: go there, come back, turn the lever, come back, go left, come back, go right, come back, walk a little forward and everything starts again . At the same time, New Order amazed with its scope and enormous levels.

The second reason is the gameplay itself. The authors of Old Blood are just stalling for time. In itself, the DLC is very short, but by forcing the player to crawl, climb and grind crowds of enemies, the passage stretches out to 5 hours. Crowds of enemies are a different matter; dozens o… Read full

To be honest, I liked the old blood even more than the new order in some places.

The old blood is a prequel to The new Order and in it we see that Blasko’s psyche is not so badly damaged yet, which is an interesting detail. Old Blood is not just a new set of levels for New order, it is a game that brings something of its own to the gameplay. In some places there is an obvious similarity with Return to castle Wolfenstein, which is not bad, even cool.

Of course, I prefer the sci-fi setting in which New Order developed and made, but Old Blood is also a very interesting game in which to play.

Oooooh, this is something! Gentlemen, if you are still thinking about whether to take this game or not, consider returning to some Plants vs. Zombies. And this game is brutal meat for Real Men! I was wildly dragging myself through the original New Order and finally an addon came out, covering its most significant part - the events of World War II (albeit alternative ones :)). All the meat that the original game was famous for remained in place, and plus that same Atmosphere from RtCW, which was slightly lacking in New Order due to its futurism, was added. Fans - strictly buy. Meat lovers - at least play ;)
