There are some negative reviews about the game. I think it’s worth adding constructiveness, and not relying on emotions alone. But at the beginning I still want to grumble, and only then praise the game. Let's begin.
1. The first fattening minus of blitz is useless training. It is this that creates obstacles for newcomers, because it does not play the main role. You can learn to steer a tank and press the shot button without training, fortunately all applications on Andryusha have more or less the same controls. But they didn’t bother to explain the basics of the game to WG. All players, especially beginners, would benefit from lessons on positioning, formation, support, and the use of landmines. Well, there are useful videos on YouTube that cover many questions. But why VG haven’t created this themselves over so many years is not clear.
- point for content.
2. The second minus is the lopsided balance. It is not clear what criteria are used to select opponents and allies. They can throw for you one “blue” player (stat 60+) with an average damage of 2k+, one “green” (stat 50-59.99, SS = 1000+) and four “white” players with a win range of 31 (no less saw) up to 49.99% and the SU tending to zero. This is a bad team. Three “blues” and four “greens” can play against you. This team has a better chance of winning.
- point for the random balancer.
3. The third disadvantage is lags, bugs, crashes, etc. after the release of an update or the introduction of an event. All this is being fixed. It just happens that when the game is polished, a quick update is announced in a day or two. Some bugs cannot be fixed for years.
— score for the curved source code.
4. The fourth disadvantage is commerce. Developers rarely listen to the opinions and requests of players to fix anything. More often than not, we are bombarded with dozens of offers and promotions, which, of course, is great when a rare tank goes on sale. But you will have to ride it according to the same rules and with the same bugs.
- point for the deafness of the developers.
5. Community. The game's community is more toxic than Dota. Everyone with a 50+ stat fancies themselves as a pro and knows the path to victory (always after being in the hangar). Hence a lot of insults, declarations of love for mothers and other things. Should we blame the game for this? It would be strange. Moreover, in the options menu you can disable the reception of any messages.
Total 5 minuses. I won’t find fault with graphics, sound, effects, etc. The game was released for smartphones after all.
I would like to say something in defense of VG.
For example, you could take the damage counter as a minus. But wait. Should be explained. Many people cannot understand his work for years, and therefore get annoyed when they hear “Hit” or “Puncture.” Well, or seeing the inscription “Ricochet” in front of your nose while aiming fire at the rear of a fleeing light tank. Here we need to tell you in more detail. Projectiles in the game do not have weight, or indeed any physical quantities. The “calculator” is responsible for the damage dealt in the game. It is also called “potato”. “Potato” measures the distance to the object, compares the angles of the armor and its thickness, the armor penetration of your projectile, the level of aiming, and then calculates the damage produced. Should this approach be considered a minus? Android's computing power is impressive, but today it is unlikely that it can process real physical data. Therefore, there is no need to fuss.
Myths about donation. There is an opinion among tankers that donations have a positive effect on the victory counter. Like, he contributed money to VG’s piggy bank and ensured a win-win streak. Moreover, it is not clear what amount for what number of victories should be entered. From my own experience: in three years of playing I deposited more than 30k rubles. My win percentage went from 51 to 54. Donations? Noooo. Stat has increased thanks to straight hands and gradually increasing average damage. It's logical! The more damage dealt during a battle, the higher the chance of winning. In short, donations have no effect.
I would like to briefly go over the advantages.
Blitz has incredible replay value and a hypnotic effect. Despite the obvious disadvantages, the game does not lose popularity among the public. If anyone likes leisurely battles, then Blitz is an example of a good cyber Arena.
