Mihuyo, in pursuit of optimizing budgets and squeezing millions of dollars out of players, is making his games more and more, how shall I put it... pointless.
All that ZZZ can offer of interest is the “neuron is active” in puberty at the sight of the characters’ huge boobs. Otherwise, the gameplay has seriously degraded compared to their previous games, now you don’t have an open world even within the location, as it was in Honkai: Star Rail, even that was taken away, now you are simply loaded into a small room with enemies and there is 1x1 square meter you see how your characters fight with enemies.
Because of this, the feeling of the scale of the events that took place, which I liked so much in their previous games, disappeared. It’s clear that there’s no point in them copying Genshin and they’re trying themselves at something new, but given their budgets, saving so much on developing new games is kind of a shame.
At the same time, facial animations and the variety and quality of animations in general suffered. The music has also seriously degraded and eats away at the brain rather than trying to entertain or immerse the player in the process. I noticed that the gacha in this game has become much tougher than in previous projects, Mihuyo will not get drunk at all, for 50+ spins not a single useful character has dropped out.
The progression system in the game has not changed a bit, you still insert weapons into your character and evolve both the character and the weapon, and leveling up your skills has not gone away. The famous artifacts are in place, still 6 pieces in size. In the same way, the character increases his tier at the expense of copies.
Absolutely the same jerking off as in previous games. Sometimes I ask myself, “What kind of crap is all this... What’s the point?” (c)
What can be praised for is the style and design. Everything is beautiful, coolly drawn, interesting and unusual. I liked it, but you won't stay in the game just for the design alone.
Unfortunately, the dialogues and general plot in the game also did not seem interesting. There is a lot of garbage in the dialogues, conversations for the sake of conversations, and the plot is not intriguing and reveals its cards right away - here is your enemy, you need to defeat him, go ahead. Even in Star Rail there was no such banality... There they really turned up the intrigue, caught up with mystics. Here everything is in the forehead and in the forehead, it feels like the modern audience is being treated like a stupid herd of sheep.
In my opinion, if you are already familiar with normal games, it is simply impossible to play ZZZ. Drop.
My rating is 0/10. For some reason, the site cannot move the rating slider from 5.5
