Compared to previous projects, in my opinion, ZZZ looks the most sincere and comfortable of all. Of course, this is not the peak of empathy, but at least something. The variety of characters is great, the design is a solid eight (although a lot depends on the specific character). Personally, the game takes me much less time than the same Genshin before, which only causes irritation and terrible boredom.
I prefer the neutrality of this game, both in terms of the twins and in relation to them. They have a well-deserved reputation, skillful guys, a good family. The brain works - and thank you for that. GG is not the great Marysue, who puts everyone on their backs, but the pure programmer Vasily, who drinks coffee in the morning. On his own, he can’t really do anything, but give him a computer and he’ll give you a presentation telling you why you’re wrong and where you went wrong (he’ll write down every minute).
Finally, your companion is not an annoying squeaky dick, understand what, and not some controllers on the train, but a dear little man, swindlers, a noodle maker and the whole region. I prefer this homey, cozy setting. There is no need to save the world, there are no large-scale problems that only you can solve (+-). Lovely.
The locations are small and beautiful, you don’t need to waste time going around this whole Samara and finding every hidden chest. Npsies also wander around and suffer. There is a skip of pissing dialogues that last a lifetime, if you don’t have the mood and desire to read and listen to it all. I don’t know if this feature was provided earlier than in other game series, but I really liked the stats of other users and the like (I heard that now this feature is also in Genshin).
A special plus for the art style. I really like the variety of styles for different events and tasks. The comics and this overly expressive animation look beautiful and enjoyable. (I love comic book inserts).
The fact that they now also have permanent voices is beautyful. I can’t stand these great dumb people (not about real people, quietly quietly, hands on the table), solely because they are like dummies. You don’t feel any history or emotions behind them.
It is clear that this was done with the expectation that the player would put himself in the shoes of the main character to some extent, but, in my opinion, this does not really work. And personally, again, I like being the 3rd person, I’m not here, don’t touch me. I just watch a cool movie and play, and then it’s up to you. I still have time to communicate with umpalumpas in real life.
The music, as usual, is pleasant - HoYoverse has never had any problems with this.
Now about the guns. I like the robots and future angle better than medieval magical fantasy. No fucking kindergarteners - hallelujah! If you want, go play with a huge furry wolf, just 10/10. Here fetishes are shown openly, and it’s okay to not care. I love honesty more than a cute picture that tries to be innocent and cloyingly kind to the point of nausea.
I see this game more as an experiment, and, as for me, it was a great success.
