The YouTube channel Residence of Evil has released gameplay footage of a new survival horror game titled PALEOPHAGE, which is inspired by Dino Crisis and Resident Evil. The project is being developed by independent developer LogDev.
Set in the near future, the game explores a world where technology has been developed to reconstruct prehistoric life. An accident occurs at a research complex's conference center, leading to the deployment of the special ops unit WYVERN Team. Upon arrival, they are confronted with terrifying creatures from the distant past.
The game promises more than ten types of prehistoric creatures as enemies, including Utahraptor, Ceratosaurus, Styracosaurus, Spinosaurus, Arthropleura, Prestosuchus, and more. Additionally, PALEOPHAGE offers two playable characters to choose from.
Other notable features include old-school gameplay with limited ammunition, hardcore battles, and puzzles.
The exact release date for PALEOPHAGE has not yet been announced, but a Steam page is already available.
