Vanity Fair shared its first look at Gladiator 2, the sequel to the cult historical action film from director Ridley Scott. The new film adaptation will star Pedro Pascal, Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, Connie Nielsen and Joseph Quinn.
The events of the new film will unfold 15 years after the first part with Russell Crowe. The plot will center on the story of Lucius, played by Paul Mescal, who will find himself in the gladiatorial arena like the main character of the original. The first trailer of the film will be shown on July 9.
Gladiator 2 is scheduled to premiere on November 22 this year.
Earlier, a new trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine appeared, in which Sabretooth was shown.
