On the latest episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, actress Lisa Kudrow, known to many as Friends' Phoebe Buffay, revealed a note from the late Matthew Perry that she accidentally found in a cookie jar the other day. The actor who played Chandler Bing left it 20 years ago.
The actress revealed that Matthew Perry gave her the prop back in 2004, after filming of the final episode had finished. It turned out that there was a note inside the box, but Lisa Kudrow only found out about it the other day.
Matthew gave that to me at the end of our last episode. I had recently found the note that he had in it for me. I hadn't opened it up or looked inside of it. But yeah, he did. He had a note in there and I forgot about it.
The actress did not reveal the contents of the message, saying only that «timing is everything». As Matthew Perry himself said in an interview with People in 2021, he gave the jar in memory of one of the episodes for which Lisa Kudrow forgot to take a watch. Then the actress got out of the awkward situation by calling the jar a watch.
Recall that 54-year-old Matthew Perry passed away in October 2023. The Friends star passed away at his home.
It recently became known that Cillian Murphy will not appear in the film 28 Years Later after all. However, his character may still be returned in future parts of the new trilogy.
