Russian studio Forward Development has released a 29th development diary for the open-world driving simulator City Car Driving 2.0, showcasing new gameplay of the project.
- All major car indicators are present on the dashboard;
- Players will be able to visit a service station to repair their vehicles;
- Car damage will not be displayed at launch;
- In the future, the project will receive a full-fledged damage system;
- The city will mainly feature narrow roads;
- The developers are still working on the interface and sound;
- Rearview mirror quality will be improved;
- The penalty system was disabled in the video (more details will be revealed later).
City Car Driving 2.0 has been in development for over two years. The project will be released in Early Access on Steam in September 2024. More details can be found in a separate news article.
