The production team of the Robocop series has a new addition. According to Variety, American screenwriter Peter Ocko has joined the project as showrunner, writer, and executive producer.
Peter Ocko has previously worked on several well-known series, such as The Office, Elementary, and Black Sails.
James Wan, known as the author of Saw, Insidious, and The Conjuring, will also take on the role of executive producer.
The series is being produced by Amazon, but it does not yet have a release date. According to the synopsis, viewers can expect a reimagining of the original 1987 film.
