The creators of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (set to release on December 9) shared new insights about the game's length in an interview with the MinnMax channel. According to creative director Axel Torvenius, the adventures of the iconic archaeology professor will be «the biggest and longest game that MachineGames has ever done.»

While the exact runtime is unknown, previous Wolfenstein titles typically take about 11 hours to complete, excluding side activities. The developers also revealed that the game will feature nearly 4 hours of cutscenes.

Additional Details from the Interview:

  • Players can customize the difficulty of puzzles;
  • There is no photo mode in the game;
  • Todd Howard first pitched the idea of an Indiana Jones game back in 2009;
  • Boss encounters will be part of the enemy roster;
  • A story expansion is planned post-launch.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Game Pass at launch. A PS5 release is scheduled for 2025.
